The spring steel printing plate with double-sided smooth PEI layer can easily withstand temperatures up to 130°C, so you can even use it with ABS.

The spring steel pressure plate is a reusable, relatively maintenance-free build pad for ABS (with a heated bed) and PLA (hot or cold), but other materials like metal, wood, PETG, ABS+ and many others work great too. You don't need any additional adhesives like glue or tape. PEI is attractive because it doesn't require any surface pretreatment, so it's easy to work with. Plus, printing on PEI doesn't require support rafts because the parts adhere directly to the surface with no problems.

NOTE! When printing PETG, it is mandatory to apply a "sacrificial layer" sacrificial layer. PETG has enormous adhesive forces and can damage many printing surfaces. We recommend applying a sacrificial layer by means of a glue stick before printing. The sacrificial layer does not reduce adhesion, but allows the component to be released without problems after cooling.
