The powder-coated spring steel printing plate is a reusable, relatively maintenance-free build surface for ABS (with a heated bed) and PLA (hot or cold), but other materials such as metal, wood, PETG, ABS+ and many others also work excellently. You don't need any additional adhesives like glue or tape. PEI is attractive because it requires no surface pre-treatment and is therefore easy to process. In addition, no support rafts are required for printing on PEI, as the parts adhere directly to the surface without any problems.
